National Composers Conference To Be Held At Chowan University

MURFREESBORO, NC – Chowan University will host the national conference of the National Association of Composers, USA (NACUSA) on Friday, March 6th. The conference will include four high-quality concerts of music by NACUSA composers. The concerts will occur in Turner Auditorium as well as Daniel Recital Hall.

NACUSA is a non-profit organization. Founded by Henry Hadley in 1933, it is one of the oldest organizations devoted to the promotion and performance of American concert hall music. Many of America's most distinguished composers have been among its members. NACUSA presents several chamber concerts each year that feature music by its members.
