Bobcats Hand Cobras 9-0 Loss

Hartsville, S.C. - The Coker Men's tennis team fell to 0-4 on the season, while dropping their first Conference Carolinas match of the season with a 9-0 loss to the Lees-McRae Bobcats on Saturday afternoon. The win improves the Bobcat men to 3-4 on the year.

Coker welcomed Mark Vial (Australia) to the court for his first collegiate match, as he played in the No. 1 spot falling 6-3, 6-1 to Nandor Solymosi and also falling his is No. 1 doubles match with Jeremiah Dye (Hilton Head, SC) 8-6 to Shaun Sumner and Travis VanHoy. Dye was the lone Cobra to pick-up at least one set on the day, as he one his first set at No. 3 singles 6-3 over Steve Karendal.

The Cobras return to the court on March 13, when they travel to Erskine, after having their match on Sunday, against Anderson had to be postponed to a later date.
