GREENSBORO, GA - The Francis Marion University golf team stands in sixth place after two rounds of the Linger Longer Invitational, held at Reynolds Landing in Greensboro, Ga.
The Patriots carded team scores of 304 and 299 on Friday and stand at 27-over-par 603. Oklahoma State University and the University of Georgia are tied for the team lead at 579, while Wichita State University is third at 585.
Senior Keith Crowley led the FMU golfers with rounds of 73 and 75 and is tied for 17th at 4-over 148. Matt Jackson is tied for 32nd position (77-74=151), while Christopher Couch (78-76=154) and Andrew Pitcher (76-78=154) are tied for 42nd place and Peter McGibney (86-74=160) is tied for 62nd.
The final round will be played Saturday.
