Hartsville, S.C. - The Coker men's tennis team was unable pick up their first win, as they lost a non-conference match to West Alabama, 7-2 on Friday afternoon at the Coker Tennis Courts. The loss drops the Cobras to 0-7 on the year.
Coker's first win of the match came at No. 3 doubles, with Evan Schreiner (Clemson, SC) and Andrew Chinnes (Hemmingway, SC) winning 8-6. Chinnes then earned the Cobras second win at No. 6 singles, winning 6-3, 6-0.
The Cobras will return to action on Saturday, taking the court against USC-Lancaster at 2:00 p.m.
