Coker Women Take Down Anderson, 6-3

Hartsville, S.C. - the Coker Women's Tennis dominated their singles matches against Anderson University, winning five of six to secure their 6-3 win over the Lady Trojans in Conference Carolinas women's tennis. The win improves the Lady Cobras to 3-2 on the year, and 2-1 in conference play.

Rachel Lemar (London, England) and Alyssa Blanchard (Columbia, SC) both went undefeated on the day, as they won at No. 1 doubles 8-2 and at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-4 and 7-5, 6-1 respectively. Stephanie Medley's (Sumter, SC) win at No. 3 singles broke the 3-3 tie and led to the eventual Coker win as she battled back from losing the first set 7-6, to wining 6-0, 6-0 and taking the win.
