The President & CEO of the South Carolina State Ports Authority is stepping down, The Palmetto Scoop has learned, a move that signifies the agency's reform-minded transformation.
Ernie Groseclose has resigned as president effective immediately after 12 years in the role. Current Secretary of the Board of Directors John Hassell will serve as the interim president until a permanent replacement is found.
