5K Run/Walk Jan. 24

Coker's 9th Annual SPC Cooperative Credit Union 5K Run/Walk will be run at 9 a.m. Jan. 24. The 5K Run/Walk is hosted by Coker College's Cobra Club and benefits the College's athletics programs.

The course is 3.1 miles and USATF Certified, starting on Coker's campus on College Avenue. Awards will be given to top finishers from 10 age groups, spanning from ages 10 and under all the way to the 60 and above group. There will also be a high school division with awards being given to the top men's and women's high school teams. The male course record of 16:44 is held by Mark Bedenbaugh and the female record of 20:17 belongs to Lauren Paige.
