#9 FMU Women sweep #27 Tusculum 9-0

GREENEVILLE, TN -- Ninth-ranked Francis Marion University handed 27th-ranked Tusculum College its first loss of the season by a 9-0 count, Saturday morning (March 7)(7-1) at the Nichols Tennis Complex.

Francis Marion, which has won eight straight matches all by 9-0 scores, swept each match in singles play in straight sets, surrendering a total of only three frames. The Patriots then won the day’s three doubles matches 8-0, 8-3, and 8-3.
The Patriots conclude their Tennessee weekend trip by playing at Carson-Newman College on Sunday.
