#5 FMU Men down Carson-Newman 9-0

JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. - The fifth-ranked Francis Marion University men's tennis team completed its weekend trip to Tennessee by downing Carson-Newman College 9-0 on Sunday afternoon (March 8).

FMU improves to 9-1 with its fourth straight victory, while Carson-Newman drops to 1-3.

Francis Marion swept the Eagles in singles play, with five of the six decisions coming in straight sets. The doubles scores were 8-1, 8-1, and 8-4.

The Patriots will host Ferris State University on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
