Hartsville, S.C. - The Coker men's tennis woes continued on Tuesday, as the Cobras fell to Barton College 7-2. The loss, Coker's 12th in a row, drops the Cobras to 0-12 overall, and 0-7 in Conference Carolinas play.
Coker's two victories of the match came at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles. At No. 2 doubles, Mark Vial (Australia) and Jeremiah Dye (Summerville, SC) defeated their opponent 8-6, while at No. 3 singles, Juan Vallejo-Gonzalez (Ecuador) knocked off his opponent 6-2, 7-5.
Coker will complete either 2009 season on April 14, when they take on Pfeiffer University in their final home match of the season.
