Conway, S.C. - The Coker Tennis team fell to Division I Coastal Carolina, 7-0 in men's collegiate tennis on Tuesday afternoon. The loss drops the Cobras overall record to 2-0.
The Cobras fought hard, with Jeremiah Dye (Hilton Head, SC) having the best day.
Dye and double partner, Tyler Edwards (Clemson, SC) had a tough match at No. 3 doubles, falling 8-2. In Dye's single's match at No. 2, Jeremiah narrowly lost the first set 6-4, before getting knocked down in set two, 6-2.
Coker will now take a week long break before returning to the courts on Thursday, February 12, when they travel to Catawba College.
